May 06, 2023 WHAT I LIKED Lots of twists and turns and unexpected plot developments. Excitement and adventure An attempt to deliver an anti-war message. It kept me guessing and watching for 3 1/2 seasons. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE nonstop fighting and endless gore. Plot points that made no sense, insufficient explanation for bizarre events. One character gets run through with a sword and flung off a cliff suffers no sustained injury. Isn't anyone a little bit curious about this? Apparently not. Cookie-cutter, mix-and-match characters whose motivation isn't always subtle or even believable. Anyone unfortunate enough to fall in love with one of them is sure to die a usually horrible death shortly thereafter. Endless sophomoric philosophizing and moralizing. May 01, 2023 Season 1 was an amazing start to one of my favourite series ever! Feb 16, 2023 The 100 is suspenseful, exciting, and full of plot twists that one didn't see coming through all 7 seasons. I would rate it R for violence - but PG for most other aspects. However, the most interesting thing about the series is how ALL of the major characters make all of their decisions from a "my truth" perspective. It shows what a calamity literally multiple apocalypses "my truth" is. That being said, I still believe season one is excellent lots of good meaning and even quotes. Everyone else beware this poopfest. Oct 01, 2022 Raging young adult hormones, too much young-adult aggression & violence, good vs. evil, survival stories, etc. - most with a modern music bed. The misery and negativity often overwhelms the hope & happiness. It's tiring & depressing. Sep 28, 2022 T the writing is literally terrible, putting fake as drama before logic and common sense constantly showing dangerous situations yet never providing an intelligent response and teaches nothing to the viewers! One simple situation that was ridiculously unnecessary, lanes leg trapped under a been femoral artery severed by beam, the lady treating him is a ducking doctor but doesn't immediately apply a tourniquet and free him so that he can be treated. This show is supposed to be in the future but the writers are literally making the viewers stupider by watching it! 90 percent of this show teaches that all actions can be validated and any Behavior is acceptable if you can get someone to agree with you! The young actors are show to be rash morons who do insane things yet it invariably works out while the adults are stubbornly authoritarian hard headed morons! This show pushes nothing but a world view of irrational emotion and irresponsibility! The writers and directors are trash. Yet the rating for this shot show showed that most people don't care they just want something shot to entertain themselves!
